Cilgerran Castle
A riverside walk to neighbouring Cilgerran & Cilgerran Castle is accessible from the hotel grounds.

Welsh Wildlife Centre
Also near to Cilgerran village is the Welsh wildlife centre in the Teifi nature reserve.  An architectural award winning building, the centre serves great locally sourced organic lunches.

Cardigan
Cardigan town is 3 miles away, with a selection of independent shops, cafes & delis, & the spectacular Medieval Cardigan Castle.

Newcastle Emlyn
An independent market town with impressive ruined castle.  On the way is the village of Cenarth with the famous Cenarth falls.  You can also take a detour to watch cheese making at Caws Cenarth.

Aberaeron
Charming harbourside town to the North with lovely town walks & great stop off for food & drink in the Harbourmaster.

St. Davids & Newgale
Over the Preseli mountains to the South lie Fishguard, St. Davids & the large beaches of Newgale & Whitesands.  St. Davids is the world’s smallest city with impressive cathedral & a range of independent shops & cafes.  Newgale beach is 2 ½ miles long & is home to Newsurf surf centre & Big Blue kitesurfing.
